SUMMARY

A guest account provides access to the computer for any user who does not have a user account on the computer. By default you do not require any password or, you can not create any password for this account either. Still if you wish to set a password for this guest account then you can easily do so.

Tips

A guest account provides access to the computer for any user who does not have a user account on the computer. By default you do not require any password or, you can not create any password for this account either. Still if you wish to set a password for this guest account then you can do the followings:-
1]Log in as the Administrator.
2]Start>Run>type "command" (without any quote)>ok
3]In the DOS window type the following:-
   Net user guest *and press the Enter key.
4]Enter the password.
5]Re-enter the password.
[Note:-To remove the password you have to follow the same procedure and press the Enter key twice ,or, you can open the Control Panel>User Accounts>Guest Account and from there you can easily change the password.
