Symptoms

The Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 BadMail folder usually located under C:\Program Files\exchsrvr\Mailroot\VSI 1 stops collecting bad messages (.BAD, .BDP, and .BDR files).

Cause

When applying�Exchange 2003 Service Pack 1�the BadMail folder feature is disabled by default. The feature�can�now be controlled through�a set of�registry keys.
