FIX: MsDb2Client doesn't support IBM CCSID 5348

Symptoms

MsDb2Client doesn't support IBM CCSID 5348 and returns the following error:
SQLSTATE HY000, SQLCODE –343 - Invalid code page error.

Cause

Host Integration Server common encoder doesn't process IBM CCSID 5348 as an alias for IBM CCSID 1252.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
