This update enables a Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013) user to invite a Microsoft Teams user to a meeting so that they can see a shared screen or have a multiparty call in a Skype for Business client.
When a Skype for Business user starts an interop chat or call together with a Microsoft Teams user, screen sharing and multiparty calls are possible only if both users are on the same client, either Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams.
After you apply this update, if a Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013) user has to share a screen or escalate to a multiparty call, the user will have the option to end the peer-to-peer interop call and automatically send the Microsoft Teams user a link to a new Skype for Business meeting that they will be added to. The Microsoft Teams user can then join the Skype for Business meeting by using any Skype for Business desktop client, including Skype for Business Web Meeting App.
