Repaired Functionality
The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.
Knowledge Management
- A blank page appeared when an anchor link was selected; and when links to web pages were selected, the page's HTML loaded without JavaScript or CSS.
- With the October Wave feature bit control enabled, old records and records far in the future did not display in the timeline.*
MidTier Services
- The BPF/Business Rule designer failed to open when cloud app security was enabled.
- Users could not proceed from the first business process stage to the second business stage.
Platform Services
- Files attached to emails sent using an SMTP based email server profile were 0 bytes in size.*
- Report toolbar buttons were missing for the Arabic and Hebrew languages on the older report viewer controller.
- Custom workflow activities and plugins generated an error ("Could not load file or assembly…").
- Some Async Select operations failed.*
- Some mailboxes failed to send outgoing email (Error: "MS Graph MailboxNotEnabledForRESTAPI").*
- When sending email from the Portal site, the subject line displayed as "CRM:00000001".*
Sales
- Advanced Find column header data was misaligned.
- N:N entities could not be added to subgrids in Legacy Unified Interface.
Solutions
- Members could not be removed from a marketing list.*
Unified Interface
- After editing the value of a header dropdown that had an option filed behind it, and moving away from the dropdown, its value changed automatically.
- New selected views were rendered when "Show Selected Views" was enabled.*
- Searches performed in offline mode did not function on mobile devices.*
- The Add Contact ("+") button intermittently disappeared from the Customer entity.*
- A "searchPlaceholder" string was incorrectly translated with a lower-case "P".
- A personal view could not be selected when creating a chart.
- Account and Contact icons did not display with the correct colors.*
- After users assigned records to themselves, an option to save modifications to the record did not display.*
- Changes to the Contact form could be saved even when a required field was left empty.
- Fields of related entities could not be retrieved when using the Dynamics 365 app for Android devices in offline mode.
- Hyperlinks in the Customer(Regarding) column did not function.
- Lookup searches on the mobile app did not return any results.
- Narrator did not read the icon buttons (should read as "button") in the Designer form.*
- Quick view forms with a subgrid did not refresh when the linked Lookup value was changed.*
- Subgrids in reference panel tabs did not refresh when switching between them.*
- The "+" button did not appear on an entity until the page was refreshed.*
- The Budget Amount in the Opportunity form displayed the wrong currency format (i.e. "$3" instead of "$3.00"), even when Precision was set to "0".
- The Quick create record in the Quick view form subgrid was not linked with the correct Lookup value.
- The Save button was visible when a user opened an account record owned by another user.
- When a solution was exported, single quotes were added automatically to the file's name.*
- When creating a new email activity, the "To:" field auto-populated, resulting in an exception while saving the email.
- When using Lookup to search for records, entities that were disabled in "Activity feeds Configuration" were visible.
- Generic dialog displays when performing multi-entity searches (i.e. "Loading…" or "0x80041103 Query Builder Error.").*
- Quick Create menu metadata was not guaranteed to be initialized in openForm ClientAPI.*
Error Messages, Exceptions, and Failures
The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions that produce errors, unhandled exceptions, or system or component failures.
Dynamics
- An error occurred ("…Attempted to perform an unauthorized operation…") when launching the form editor.
MakerX
- An error occurred indicating that solutions being exported were too large, even when they were small.*
Platform Services
- An unexpected error message displayed when approving email with insufficient permissions.
Solutions
- A script error occurred when opening a routing rule item.*
Unified Interface
- When creating a new email activity, the "To:" field auto-populated, resulting in an exception while saving the email.
- Grid commands were not visible.*
- An error occurred when using the Save As command in a personal chart.
