You can sign in to Skype for Business for iOS with an incorrect password

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You sign out of the Skype for Business for iOS app.
  • You reinstall the app.
  • You open the app and enter your user name on the sign-in page.
  • You click Advanced Options and enter your user name again.
  • You close Advanced Options and enter the correct password.
  • After the app successfully signs you in, you sign out of the app.
  • On the sign-in page, you enter an incorrect password.

In this scenario, you can sign in to Skype for Business successfully after you enter an incorrect password.

Cause

This issue occurs because Skype for Business doesn’t prompt you for credentials every time that you sign in.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install version 6.23 or a later version of Skype for Business for iOS.
