Update for DST changes for São Tomé and Príncipe, Qyzylorda, Kazakhstan, and the Palestinian Authority in Windows Embedded Compact 7

This article describes an update that makes time zone and dailylight savings time (DST) changes for São Tomé and Príncipe, Qyzylorda, Kazakhstan, and the Palestinian Authority in Windows Embedded Compact 7.

Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

São Tomé and Príncipe

Starting on January 1, 2019, at 02:00, São Tomé moved from the UTC+01:00 time zone to UTC+00:00.

Qyzylorda

On December 21, 2018 at 00:00 local time, the Qyzylorda region of Kazakhstan moved from the UTC+06:00 time zone to UTC+05:00. Customers can now switch to the new time zone for Qyzylorda, which is displayed as (UTC+05:00) Qyzylorda.

Palestinian Authority

Daylight saving time in the Palestinian Authority began this year on Friday, March 29, 2019.

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:

• On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.
• On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.

Update replacement

This update does not replace any other updates.
