Update for Windows 10, Version 1809: May 16, 2016

This update addresses an issue in which a small number of devices may be unable to connect to Windows Update. This issue only affects devices that exclusively use a point-to-point connection, most often used in DSL modems as Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE).

Only certain devices with Windows 10, Version 1809 require this update. These devices will automatically get the update downloaded and installed through Windows Update.

This update is also offered directly to Windows Update Client for some devices that have not installed any recent cumulative updates and are not currently managed (for example, they are not domain-joined).
