"Remaining Windows rearm count" is displayed two times in German version of Windows Server

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

In the German version of Windows Server 2019 or 2016, you open the Run window (Windows logo key+R), run slmgr -dlv, and then examine the Windows Script Host window. In the script, you notice that the Remaining SKU rearm count:%Count% line is missing, and the Remaining Windows rearm count:%Count% line appears two times.

In this scenario, the Windows Script host window resembles the following screenshot:

Cause

This issue occurs because two different UIs were localized to create the UI for the German version of the program. In the script, the first instance of the repeated line actually refers to “Remaining SKU rearm count.” The second instance correctly refers to “Remaining Windows rearm count.”
