Symptoms

Assume that you run Microsoft ADO.NET provider for DB2 to connect to IBM DB2 for z/OS through IBM DB2 Connect Gateway. In this scenario, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

Commit Exception Type: Microsoft.HostIntegration.MsDb2Client.MsDb2Exception
Message: The request for the host resource failed. SQLSTATE=HY000 SQLCODE=-357
