Now that you’ve onboarded as a Surface reseller, to gain access to the Surface portal and marketing materials, please make sure that you’ve completed the following steps. The top two access issues are partners not using their personal account to log in to the portal, or they do not have the appropriate flag added to their account.
1. If you receive the following error message: <<You cannot access the Surface Reseller Alliance Partner Portal.>>, please proceed with below steps:
- Close all open web browsers
- Open browser of choice
- Clear cookies and cache
- Go to http://partner.microsoft.com/surface/assets while in private/incognito mode
- Sign in with your email and if prompted like the below image to select personal.
Note: You should clear cookies/cache, as that appears to stop access every once in a while.
