Update for .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 on Windows 8.1, RT 8.1, and Server 2012 R2 (KB 4346745): July 30, 2018

This July 30, 2018, update for Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 fixes an issue in .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. This update addresses an issue that was introduced in the July 2018 .NET Framework updates. Applications that rely on COM components were failing to load or run correctly because of “access denied,” “class not registered,” or “internal failure occurred for unknown reasons” errors.
