Summary

The 2.11.0.6432 and earlier versions of Tobii Eye Tracking Core Software is incompatible with Windows 10, version 1803 (April 2018 Update).

Symptoms

After you upgrade to Windows 10, version 1803, you may experience the following issues:

  • The number “4” begins to type by itself in the Windows search bar even though without using the keyboard.
  • The pointer (cursor) goes backward while writing.

Resolution

You will need to upgrade to the latest version of Tobii Eye Tracking Core Software. For instructions, please see the Tobii Help article here. After installing the latest update you will be able to upgrade to the Window 10 April 2018 Update.
