FIX: Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for DB2 fails to call a stored procedure containing more than 84 parameters returning SQLCODE -290

Symptoms

Assume that you run the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for DB2 and call a stored procedure with parameters. When the parameter list exceeds 84 parameters, then you may receive the following error message:

The request for the host resource failed. SQLSTATE=HY000 SQLCODE=-290

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:

Note The Microsoft BizTalk Adapter has been modified to allow more than 84 parameters to be passed.
