The IIS based Hardware Station has logic to handle parallel calls from multiple POS terminals by maintaining a list of locks to manage access to peripherals, particularly the payment terminal. However, in certain error scenarios the locks can get out of sync and cause the Hardware Station to get into a state which will cause all consecutive calls to start failing.
