Important Notice to Customers

We recommend that you contact your Microsoft Dynamics Partner before installing service packs or hotfixes. It is important to verify that your environment is compatible with the service pack(s), hotfix(es), or download(s) being installed. A service pack, hotfix, or download may cause interoperability issues with customizations, and third-party products that work with your Microsoft Dynamics solutions.

Important Notice to Partners

As per the SPA, it is non-compliant for partners to redistribute tax and regulatory updates to ERP customers not enrolled in the Business Ready Enhancement Plan. Partners can verify their customer’s status in VOICE. If they're not enrolled, Partners will need to get them current before they can distribute.

Setup and functionality

  1. Before you print the payment practices you must set up payment periods:
  2. Specify the payment periods to report on the page Payment Period Setup under:
    • CRONUS International Ltd./Departments/Financial Management/Receivables/Setup
    • CRONUS International Ltd./Departments/Financial Management/Payables/Setup

    Payment period setup

  3. Run the report Payment Practices Reporting from:
    • CRONUS International Ltd./Departments/Financial Management/Receivables/Reports
    • CRONUS International Ltd./Departments/Financial Management/Payables/Reports

    Payment practices reporting

  4. Set the period on which you want to report. The report shows summarized information about due invoices for the respective payment periods:

Summary of the payment practices reporting

Notice the two checkboxes/options on the request page:

Show Invoices
Enabling this option will have the report show the actual due invoices with some additional information:

  • Amount - the original amount
  • Amount Corrected - correction can happen by credit memo or document with blank type
  • Amount Due - remaining amount to be paid

Show invoices for payment practices reporting

Payments within period

By enabling this option the report will only consider payments within the filtered starting and ending date. If not payments outside this period will be considered as well, which makes sense for situations where the invoice is paid within the period but applied outside the period.

Excluding specific vendors from the report

It is possible to exclude entries from a particular vendor from the report. This is done by enabling the Exclude from Payment Reporting option on the Vendor Card on the Payments tab.
