Symptoms

A sales order is created by the user after which they add a Note to either the Header or the Line. The sales order is then confirmed, and a confirmation journal is posted containing the Note.


The next day the user needs to  make changes to this note on the sales order, when he changes for example an Internal note to external, the error message “ The document ID field must be unique”


KB 4056361 has already been installed, however the same messages occurs

Resolution

This hotfix resolves the issue by ensuring that when copying a new document id will be used.
