Symptoms

An item has stock of for example 6 pcs in a location. A sales order is created for 6 qty (total available qty). Sales work is created and picking process started in the mobile app.
Once picked, the cycle counting threshold starts as the location became empty, but when you confirm zero quantity you get the error message saying "insufficient quantity available".

Resolution

When the cycle count process starts, no matter which specific item triggers it, the warehouse worker is expected to count all the items that are on the location. In the reported case, the item has no on-hand on the location, because during the pick operation all the on-hand was taken from the location; this means that the worker needs to count all the other items on the location. In case of some unexpected on-hand on the location, the worker can add a new item/LP following the menu provided by the cycle count process.

With this hotfix, we are not addressing specifically the reported scenario, since as explained above the reported scenario is by design. Instead, this hotfix addresses an issue that we found with the cycle count work lines generated by the cycle count process. In fact, the issue is related to an unexpected work line that was created for the items that were picked during the picking process.
