Description of the security update for Word Viewer: October 9, 2018

Summary

This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office that could allow information disclosure if a user opens a specially crafted Office file. To learn more about these vulnerabilities, see Microsoft Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures CVE-2018-8432 and Microsoft Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures CVE-2018-8427.

Note To apply this security update, you must have the release version of Service Pack 3 for Microsoft Word Viewer 2003 installed on a computer that is running Windows Embedded POSReady 2009.
