End of servicing notification for Windows 10 Versions 1507, 1511, and 1607

Summary

If you have a device that's running Windows 10 versions 1507, 1511, or 1607, a full-screen, end-of-servicing notification might appear on your device.

The notification shows the end-of-service date for your version of Windows 10.  For more details about the end-of-service date for your version of Windows 10, please see the Windows lifecycle fact sheet. 

Versions of Windows 10 that are listed as "end of service" have reached the end of their support period and will no longer receive security updates. To keep Windows as secure as possible, Microsoft recommends that you upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10.

Known issues

Symptom Workaround
Customers with managed PCs running Windows 10 Versions 1507, 1511, or 1607 may experience prompts to update Windows on some of those PCs. Microsoft has resolved the issue, and users receiving update notifications should select “Not right now” to dismiss the update. Cached settings will clear no later than March 31, 2018.
