Symptoms

When:
  • you try to calculate/post a statement or 
  • you try to post inventory 
containing transactions with serialized item(s), you receive the following error message:
"Serial number xxx already exists physically in the inventory"

Resolution

The changes in the hotfix prevent the statement from failing by temporarily allowing to sell a returned/serialized item. After the statement is posted, the physical inventory will be updated to correct values.
