Symptoms

When you try to post a statement in batch job, you receive the following error message:

"Cannot edit a record in Batch job (BatchJob). An update conflict occurred due to another user process deleting the record or changing one or more fields in the record."

Resolution

The changes in the hotfix prevent the statement posting from failing when the update conflict error occurs by recovering from the exception and retrying to save the batch job record.
