Hyper-V integration components update for Windows virtual machines

This article describes an update for the latest integrated components for Windows Server 2012 R2 Guest Virtual Machines (VMs) that are running on a Windows 10-based or Windows Server 2016-based host, or a Windows Server 2012 R2-based host.

A bug in a storage filter (vmstorfl.sys) has been fixed that may have an impact towards performance.

If you install a language pack after you install this update, you must reinstall this update. Therefore, we recommend that you install any language packs that you need before you install this update. For more information, see Add language packs to Windows.
