Media related issues in MSI-based editions of Skype for Business 2016

Symptoms

You may experience the following three issues of media related functionalities in Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based editions of Skype for Business 2016:

  • When you share full-screen for an Ultra High Definition (UHD) video, the CPU usage may be higher than expected.
  • When a user resize a video on a Polycom RMX 2000 video device, Microsoft Skype for business 2016 freezes unexpectedly.
  • Surface Pro 4 rear-facing camera isn't available for a Skype for Business video.

To fix these issues, install the December 5, 2017, update (KB4011563) for Skype for Business 2016.
