Symptoms

The current Project accounting adjustment posting routine is a synchronous process. When selecting more than hundreds of transactions that need to get adjusted, it will try to post those transactions synchronously. Since the process would take a lot of time, the browser looks like it hangs and would lose connection after.

Resolution

The project adjustment posting routine will now run asynchronously. This would mean that once the Post button is clicked, the user will be able to control the UI and when the posting routine is done, infolog messages will be shown in the active browser session.
