When you print on a printer by using a Microsoft PostScript Printer Driver (PScript5) from a Windows-based device, some characters may be printed incorrectly.
For example, when you print a Microsoft Word document that has accents or umlaut characters, such as á, é, í, ó, ú, ä, ë, ï, ö, ü, ÿ, ś, ć, ó, or ż in an Arial font, the characters aren't printed correctly. The printed characters may not be alphabetical.

The issue occurs when the following conditions are true:
- Print is done by using the device font of the printer.
- The font specified in the source document is not in the device fonts.
- Multiple fonts are written in the font keyword in the PostScript printer description (PPD) file of the print driver.
