Summary

This security update resolves a vulnerability in Windows Error Reporting (WER). The vulnerability could allow elevation of privilege if successfully exploited by an attacker. An attacker who successfully exploits this vulnerability could gain greater access to sensitive information and system functionality. This update corrects the way that WER handles and executes files.
