FIX: Microsoft Provider for DB2 fails with exception 0x80040E14 when you run a distributed transaction against a DB2 database

Symptoms

You run an application that uses the Microsoft Provider for DB2 to run a distributed transaction (DUW) against a DB2 database. To do this, you must interact with Microsoft Data Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC) to join a transaction.

In this situation, joining the transaction fails and generates a 0x80040E14 exception.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in Cumulative Update 1 for Host Integration Server 2016.
