PROBLEM

When you open the Minecraft Education Edition application, you receive this error message:

"Check your account. Minecraft: Education Edition is currently not available to you. Go to the Store"

How to detect:

When you launch the game, it will not stay open. Additionally, you receive the following error message, or the game crashes.

SOLUTION

This can occur when

  1. Minecraft: Education Edition was installed on multiple (10 and above) devices using the same Work or School account to sign into the store

  2. The Work or School account used to install Minecraft: Education Edition is no longer signed into the Store application or Windows.

To correct this error, install Minecraft: Education Edition to student devices using the "Download for others" method described in the following article:
