You don’t see an update to Windows 10 Version 1607 on a Surface Hub

Symptoms

When you check for updates on a Surface Hub device that's running Windows 10 Version 1511 (build 10586), you don't see an available update to Windows 10 Version 1607 (build 14393).

Workaround

To enable your Surface Hub to receive the update to Windows 10 Version 1607 (also known as the Windows 10 Anniversary Update), follow these steps:

  • Select Settings Updates and SecurityAdvanced Options, and then select the Defer Upgrades check box.
  • Go back one level, and then select Check for updates again.

These steps enable the device to be offered the Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607.
