Update to the BizTalk adapter for MQSC to enable a Wait interval of more than 60 seconds

View products that this article applies to.

Summary

The BizTalk adapter for MQSC is updated in this update to allow for a Wait interval of up to 60 minutes (3,600 seconds). This change is useful if there will not be many messages sent to the MQ Queue. In this situation, the adapter waits up to 60 minutes without constantly polling the Queue. If a message is delivered to the Queue during this time, the message is immediately returned to the adapter.

More Information

When the Wait Interval is configured as greater than 60 seconds, the adapter will always return only 1 message at a time regardless of what is set for Maximum Messages in Batch property. If the Wait Interval is set to 60 seconds or less, then the Maximum Messages in Batch property will be checked so existing applications will continue to work as before this update.
