This article describes an issue in which Visual Studio crashes when you delete a block of code lines that includes the last set breakpoint on a device that's running Windows Embedded Compact 2013. An update is available to resolve this issue.
Note Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.
You use Visual Studio 2015 to open the source file of an application on a device that's running Windows Embedded Compact 2013. If breakpoints are set and you delete a block of code lines that includes the last set breakpoint in the Breakpoint Watch window, Visual Studio crashes.
Windows Embedded Compact 2013 Monthly Update (March 2017) is now available from Microsoft. To download this Windows Embedded Compact 2013 monthly update, go to Microsoft OEM Online or MyOEM.
This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.
After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:
