This update fixes the following issues:
- Outlook 2016 email messages don't display presence icons when the Windows Custom Text Size (DPI) setting is set to a specific custom value.
- If the ZeroConfigExchange registry key is configured, you can't set a profile for an account other than the primary account that's associated with the Active Directory (AD) user account in Outlook 2016.
- When you open an exception of recurring appointment series in Outlook online mode, the exception appointment displays incorrectly.
-
When you try to change the members of a distribution list in Outlook 2016 that has multiple Exchange profiles set, you receive the following error message:
The public group cannot be displayed. The operation failed.
- If you connect Outlook 2016 by using IMAP protocol, you may see the message reappears in the Draft folder occasionally after you send an email.
-
When you try to add an RSS feed that does not require Office 365 Modern Authentication, it still promotes for authentication.
Note To fix this issue, you have to set the value of the registry key NoAuthCheckAddingFeeds to 1 after you install this update. See KB4011241 for more information.
- The tab key and space bar don't work after you switch from a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) form to the reading pane and back to the form in Outlook 2016.
- Outlook 2016 freezes when you try to send an encrypted message that contains large attachments.
This update provides an option to control default attachment state when you try to attach a cloud file.
Note To enable this function, see KB4011261 for more information.
This update also improves some translations for the following products:
- The Private Appointment function in the Swedish version of Outlook 2016.
- Translations for the Cloud File Options UI in all languages. (Cloud File Options UI includes the dialog that shows how to attach a cloud file, and the settings by selecting File > Options > General tab.)
