Symptoms

If you use Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) to create an all-day appointment that spans more than one day, the appointment may not be booked correctly. For example, this problem occurs in the following scenario:
  1. Use Microsoft Internet Explore and OWA to log on to an Exchange 2000 computer.
  2. Click Calendar, click August 30, 2003 in the Calendar, and then click New.
  3. Type a subject for the appointment, and then type a location.
  4. Set the end date to Saturday, September 6, 2003.

The start date is already set to Saturday, August 30, 2003.
  5. Click to select the All day event check box, and then click Busy next to Show time as.
  6. Click Save and Close.
In this scenario, the appointment's end date changes from 8/30/2003 to 10/1/2003. All of the month of September is booked instead of only the first week.
