Summary

Instant message polling and fixed port callback delivery are new connection features that are available in Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 1 (SP1). These features allow connections between the server that is running Exchange 2000 Instant Messaging and the Exchange Instant Messenger client, even if the server cannot connect to the client (for example, if either one is protected by a firewall).
