XADM: The Exchange 2000 Information Store Stops Unexpectedly Because of an Access Violation That Occurs When Converting HTML or RTF Messages

The Exchange 2000 Server Information Store may stop unexpectedly because of an access violation.

This problem occurs because of a logic error in the code that converts Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Rich Text Format (RTF) messages in the Exchange 2000 information store.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
