To resolve this behavior, either disable the Site Server ILS Service or remove Site Server ILS Services from the computer. To do so, use one of the following methods.
NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
Method 1: Disable the Site Server ILS Service
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Services.
- In the right pane, right-click Site Server ILS Service, and then click Properties.
- Click the General tab.
- In the Startup type box, click Disabled, and then click OK.
Method 2: Remove Site Server ILS Services
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click Add/Remove Windows Components.
- Under Components, click Networking Services (but do not click to clear the check box), and then click Details.
- Under Subcomponents of Networking Services, click to clear the Site Server ILS Services check box, click OK, and then click Next.
- Click Finish.
