Symptoms

When you log on to Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) using an early version of a browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 4, e-mail messages are not rendered correctly and may appear to be corrupted. This problem only occurs with e-mail messages that were composed by using a character set that is different from the character set that is used on the local Exchange 2000 computer.

Workaround

To work around this problem, use a later version of your browser to read your OWA e-mail messages.
