When you use Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) to delete a meeting request from the Inbox, OWA removes the meeting from the Calendar.
This problem may occur if you used Outlook to accept the meeting request. When you use Outlook to open a meeting request in the Inbox, and then click Accept to accept the meeting, Outlook places the meeting on the Calendar and removes the meeting request from the Inbox. However, if you right-click the tentative meeting in the Calendar, and then click Accept to accept the meeting request, Outlook does not remove the meeting request from the Inbox. After you accept the meeting request by using this method, if you use OWA to delete this meeting request from the Inbox, OWA also removes the meeting from the Calendar and the data is lost.
