Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013) isn't active after you apply "Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse"

Symptoms

Assume that you apply the Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse option in Control Panel. When you move the mouse over the Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013) client, it doesn't become active.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the December 6, 2016, update (KB3127976) for Skype for Business 2015 (Lync 2013).

Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
