This December 13, 2016, Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, and 4.6.2 updates for Windows Server 2012 resolves vulnerabilities in the Microsoft .NET Framework. A security vulnerability exists in the .NET Framework which could allow an attacker to access information at rest that should be defended by cryptographic mechanisms.
