Printing might not respond when a connection is lost to a printer connected via a Bluetooth (HCRP) port

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
1. You have Windows 10 or Windows 8.1 installed on your PC.
2. You connect a printer via a Bluetooth (HCRP) port.
3. You start printing a document.
4. You lose connection to the printer during printing. This may occur if, for example, you move the PC away from the printer until the connection is lost, or if the printer loses power or is turned off during the print job. 
In this scenario, the Print Spooler service may hang. The Print Spooler service cannot be rebooted, and you are not able to print.

Cause

This issue occurs because bthprint.sys continues to wait for a response from the printer.

Resolution

If this issue occurs, you can temporarily resolve it by restarting Windows.
This issue is resolved in Windows 10 Version 1703 and later versions.  If you have Windows 10 Version 1607, you can resolve the issue by installing cumulative update KB4015217.  Please check to make sure that you've installed the latest Windows Updates.
