Symptoms

Assume that you create a meeting in Microsoft Lync 2013 (Skype for Business). Then, you click the Invite More People button, search for yourself, and then select your mobile number. In this situation, nothing happens. After that, you invite another user to attend the meeting. In this situation, your mobile phone rings, and your identity is displayed incorrectly as the other user's identity in the Skype for Business call.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the November 1, 2016, update (KB3127934) for Lync 2013 (Skype for Business).

Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
