FIX: No IP address from DHCP when you connect to an Access Point after an unsuccessful connection in a WEC7 device

Symptoms

Assume that you have a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device that's connected to an Access Point, and then a wrong password is configured on this connection. In this situation, when you try to connect to the Access Point again with a valid password, the wireless adapter of the CE device fails to get a valid IP address.

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:
  • On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.
  • On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You don't have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
