After you install the May 2, 2017, update for Excel 2016 (KB3191861), the following Get & Transform features are updated in Microsoft Excel 2016:

  • SAP Hana connector improvements: Enhancements to Parameter Input UX
  • New transformation: Add column by example
  • New transformation: Split column (by delimiter or number of characters) into rows
  • New transformation: Group By - Basic mode
  • Navigate to the column in the query editor
