Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 can generate tax transactions from Misc. charges, project expense journals and several other areas, this causes extra information required by Malaysia GST like invoice numbers, organization number cannot be entered.
Malaysian GST tax invoices require having organization numbers, invoice numbers. In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, there are many places to enter tax related transactions besides sales and purchase invoices, for example general journals, travel expense report. A lot of them does not link to vendor master data, so it is impossible to default GAF information from vendor master data. In
KB3092718 , it supports to define GAF info for banks, default GAF info for bank charges. It enables to enter GAF information for general journals with only ledger accounts. In this enhancement, it will support to default GAF information from customers and vendors for misc. charges of all sales and purchase invoices, add the GAF input form in project expense journal, travel expense report and service order lines. For other GST related transactions, a warning message will be displayed if there is no GAF information defaulted from customers and vendors during posting. Users should enter GAF info for those transactions in the GST preview form before generating GAF return files.
