Symptoms

When you try to view current sessions under Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3), Internet Message Access Protocol, Version 4rev1 (IMAP4) or Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), and you are logged on as a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server View-only Administrator (at the organization level) or as a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 View-only Administrator, you may receive an "Access denied" error message.

Workaround

To work around this problem, assign the View-only Administrator user as a member of the Administrators group on the Exchange 2000 Server computer.
