Symptoms

If you run Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications macro code that displays a user form, you receive an access violation error message in Excel, and the program stops responding.

Cause

This problem may occur if you have a user-defined function that calls a user-defined form. For example, Sub A calls Function B. Function B displays a user form.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

The English version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later:
