FIX: “Assembly compilation failed” when assembly and interface name match in Host Integration Server

Symptoms

You create a Transaction Integrator assembly that has an assembly name that matches the interface name. The HIDX file can be saved, but you receive an error message that resembles the following in the Microsoft Visual Studio output window:

Test.hidx: Test: Assembly compilation failed.

Note In this example error message, Test is the name of the assembly and the interface.

Resolution

The fix that resolves this problem is included in the following cumulative updates for Host Integration Server:

Cumulative Update 4 for Host Integration Server 2013
