FIX: Playing time progress bar issue on a Windows Embedded Compact 2013 device

Introduction

This article describes an issue that affects a Windows Embedded Compact 2013 device: the playing time progress bar jumps back one second after you release the Fast Forward or Fast Reverse button. An update is available to resolve this issue. Before you install this update, all previously issued updates for this product must be installed.

Symptoms

When you play a .wma file on a Windows Embedded Compact 2013 device, and you press the Fast Forward or Fast Reverse button and then release it, the device starts to search from the current position. However, the playing time on the progress bar jumps back 1 second, moves forward, and then the device continues playback.

Restart requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To do this, use one of the following methods:
  • On the Build menu, click Clean Solution, and then click Build Solution.
  • On the Build menu, click Rebuild Solution.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
